The Pumphouse Hotel

DBG projects were entrusted to renovate this heritage listed Greek Revival style two-story clinker brick and rendered hotel. The design and construction of the Public Bar, reconfigure all venue amenities and fully equip the commercial kitchen were all completed in the house working closely with the client. DBG was able to create an open plan design from the traditional layout, surpassing many structural challenges along the way.


This project was successfully finalised within the estimated time of 5 weeks, resulting in complete client satisfaction upon delivery.

National Gallery of Victoria (NGV)

Timeline: 3 weeks


Through successful tender, we were engaged to construct a scale size apartment that included a full kitchen, bathroom and living areas. Working with the design team at NGV we completed the project within 3 weeks.

The Garden Wall Project is a picturesque escape within the Grollo Gardens. Framed with elegantly-designed white wall structures cladded in transparent woven mesh, the 65m2 deck area is the pinnacle of the Garden wall project.

Knox Tavern

Client: Dominion Hotel Group

Timeline: 6 months


DBG Projects were engaged to project manage a complete fit out the existing tavern which had previously experienced critical fire damage. The team successfully facilitated the design and construction operations whilst working together with Knox Westfield who provided the base building structure.


DBG Projects were able to meet the allocated budget and deliver a stunning new venue on time.

Club Laverton Motel

Timeline: 3 weeks


What started as a upgrade of four bathrooms due to deteriorating plumbing issues, became a full refurbishment of the existing 31 motel rooms and bathrooms on premise. Each room has been stunningly renovated with the latest amenities including designer fixtures and feature finishes. DBG Projects thrived on the challenges this project presented. In particular, the restricted hours of operation the team were allocated given the motel continued to trade during the redevelopment.
